I think it will be fun this year to keep track of all of Leah's ridiculousness that comes with her age.
We are not even a month into 3 and she gets wackier, funnier, and more awesome by the day.
...
The other evening Disney had a Mickey Mouse Christmas special on...
I really wish I could remember the exact name...
She wanted to watch TV and I was trying to find something appropriate for her on, and came across this show that had already started.
Because it had already started I did not record it...
Leah LOVED this show.
An hour later when it was over, even though it was already 8 oclock, she asked to watch it again.
And I rewound it, and let her...
Mommy wanted some time to relax!
So, with the help of skipping commercials it was over by 8:45.
She asked to watch it for the 3rd time.
What is with kids and wanting to watch the same thing over and over and over?
Of course I told her no and insisted it was bed time.
She started scream and crying for more "Mickeys trees".
I carried her to her bed while she continued to cry.
I laid in her bed for a bit waiting for her to calm down.
But she continued to cry like she had just lost her dog.
Like I told her she could never eat candy again.
Like her grandma just died.
She would quiet down for a few minutes and then it would start...
"Miiiiiiickeyyyyy"
"Pleeeeeeease"
"Miiiiiiickeyyyyy!"
This went on for atleast 20 minutes!
She finally just crashed mid cry.
It was almost hilarious how hard she was crying for it.
Brian even came in her room as one point because of her crying.
He probably thought I was beating her or something with how emotional she was.
And the next morning the first thing she asked for when she woke up ...
"Mickey's Trees"
And again after school, and after dinner, and the next day...
WHY DID I NOT RECORD IT!?
Now I am off to youtube/google to see if I can find it or buy it!
Mommy wants some more quiet time.
If you have an ipad or iphone, you can get the Disney Jr app and watch anytime you want. Can you say LIFESAVER?
