strange and cool

While lying in bed this morning and starring at my belly.... it started to move and shake!

You can now see the movement from the outside!

Its not a distinct body part or anything, but you can see it!

My book also says that you can hear the baby's heartbeat by putting your ear to my belly too! I wish I could do it and hear it!

its been a while

Florida was a great trip. I think it was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever been on. All we did was enjoy the beach. I was able to catch up on a lot of sleep as well.

Below are a few pictures...

Brian has finally felt the baby kick. While in Florida we went to see Harry Potter. The baby kicked the entire movie! He hasn't felt the baby since... it seems that the baby likes to stop as soon as I offer someone to feel my belly. This maybe a VERY shy baby! I am just glad Brian has experienced it... I think he has been asking about the baby alot more now. Maybe it hit him that there really is something inside of me that is coming out in only 15 weeks!

It looks like Monday will be our third try to find out what we are having. Part of me doesn't even care to know anymore.... I think I am actually willing to wait, but the appointment is made, and Brian wants to give it one last shot.

I picked out the baby dresser... Brian just needs to come with me this weekend to purchase it! Its from Ashley's, and its actually the dresser that my sister currently has. Its nice, white, wood, and a decent price. Below is a picture... we will not be getting the mirror though. I am excited to check furtniture off of our to do list. (Our to-do list is very long) My mom has been looking at Gliders for us as well, since she refuses to give me her rocker now....

I think Sunday we will be finally registering... or atleast beginning to register. I think we will try to get the big things, and then wait for possibly gender specific items.

Its definitely beginning to hit me that the baby will be here soon. I think these next 3 months will go by super fast!

On a side note... Last night I took my sister to the Jonas Brothers concert. We had great seats, and had a good time. I just love seeing my sister so excited and happy. Do you think she could smile any bigger!?

Strike two

We are still having a uncooperative baby!

The baby was wide awake.... moving lots... grabbing onto its feet, and arms all over the place..... but the legs stayed glued together!

The baby was definitely bigger with the heart rate still at 154. Yeah for 54!

We are going to try one last time.... as long as the doctor doesn't cancel it since it is just for our own nosieness.... on Aug 3. Hopefully by then the baby will turn (currently the baby is still breached with its butt down) so it will be easier to see its special parts.

I am beginning to think that this baby is trying to teach Brian and I a lesson. We are not very patient people... this is baby is forcing us to work on that!

Well we are off to Florida tomorrow for vacation with Brian's family! I can't wait to just relax on the beach and enjoy the sun!! See you all in a week!

We are off to the doctor for another ultrasound!!

Keep your fingers crossed!

One thing is for certain

We may not know if we are having a son or daughter....
We may not know what our little one will be named...
We may not know what our little one will look like...

We do know our little one will be attending The Goddard School!!

After work today I went and paid our 1/2 a month, non-refundable, deposit to hold our position for Aug 2010!! It is completely crazy to think that we paid so much for something that wont even start for over a year, but we are completely excited!

I just feel confident that our baby is going to start off on a great foot! If we can afford it, I think there is no reason why we shouldnt give this baby everything we possibly can! I definitely think Goddard is the right choice!

Check out the website! You will love it too!

We love it!

Our crib is here and put together!!! Thank you Larry and Penny (Brian's parents) for assisting!!

I of course had to put the bedding on it so see what it will all look like! I love it! Brian and I both just keep standing at the door way to the room and just staring at it. 4 more months and there will be our baby sleeping in it!!
The room of course still needs to be painted. We a discussing the possibility of painting the room a nuetral color and just keeping this room as a nursery. We hope to have more kids, close in age... and as Brian put it "We cant get that crib out of there!" without taking it all apart again... I think Yellow or a light green would be nice!

feeling pregnant

I am beginning to feel more pregnant.

It is not so effortless to roll from side to side at night.

It takes more effort to sit up from a laying position.

My feet hurt after walking or standing for a long period of time.... even in tennis shoes.

And I now have a continual acid reflux feeling in my throat from my stomach room getting smaller and smaller...

I love knowing the baby is growing and we are getting closer and closer to meeting our little one, but this is not very comfortable, and I know it is all going to get much worse!

Pictures Pictures

In baby news, I am routinely feeling the baby kick! It is pretty light still, but there! My friend Stephanie explained it as a muscle spasm inside your stomach, and I think she hit it on the head! Its kind of weird, but kind of great! I can't wait till it gets stronger and Brian and feel them too!

I thought I would add a few pictures from the 4th of July and our anniversary...

The handsome boys celebrating 4th of July....

Kelly, Tara and I enjoying the fireworks show...

Brian, me, and baby enjoying some fireworks....

Me looking very pregnant now at 21 weeks!

The top of our wedding cake a year later... still delicous! The icing was still very whipped and light!

Happy 1 year of marriage to us!

Our child will now have a place to sleep!

We bought a crib!

It is from Babies R Us, Basset brand, real wood, life-time convertible, antique white, and was 80 dollars off the regular price! We didn't really care for the matching dresser so we are going to keep looking. It should be in in 7-14 business days and then ready for our pick up! I guess it will just sit un-put-together until we get the room painted!
